365 days of happy – july 2017
DAY 182 – July 1st
Spent the day with my husband, celebrating the country’s 150th year and one month of marriage. Started the day with homemade breakfast, and ended with home cooked dinner with plenty of fun in between.

DAY 183 – July 2nd
Today was a beautifully lazy Sunday, complete with a walk to the park, a run in the rain, and a delicious homemade dinner.

DAY 184 – July 3rd
That moment your husband comes home to find you stuck in bed with a headache, and proceeds to stroke your hair because he knows it will make you feel better–priceless!

DAY 185 – July 4th
I got to enjoy a beautiful sit-down dinner with my husband before my studio guests arrived, and while it was short-lived, it was super romantic. 💕
DAY 186 – July 5th
It was quite the adventure, and it took some serious elbow grease to get this thing in my car, but I did it. It fit! Now I get to find a spot for this gorgeous piece in my studio 😍
DAY 187 – July 6th
Today is a day where people around the world are celebrating kissing day. I am happy that I can partake in these activities daily without fear or judgement, and i am so grateful. Happy kissing to everyone! Best way to start the day–even better way to end it 😘
DAY 188 – July 7th
A few hiccups later, and we are officially married to each other. Who knew a piece of paper could induce such happiness 😍
DAY 189 – July 8th
Finally got my rings back from the jeweller’s today, so combined with the marriage licence arriving yesterday, I truly feel like a married woman. That plus my new pretty red nails–it’s a great feeling to feel beautiful and loved! 💍❣️
DAY 190 – July 9th
After patiently waiting for almost 6 weeks, we got some of our wedding photos today back from Melissa Morrissey Photography and they are beautiful! Can’t wait to share the rest!
DAY 191 – July 10th
Today was an extra mundane Monday, as if everything was just happening in front of me, without being in it. The perfection of a well made coffee snaps you right back in the action. Bliss 💕

DAY 196 – July 15th
Today I had the opportunity to be a part of a very special event for a friend, who just opened up shop in Wellington West. A big move for her bridal shop from Kanata, a re-brand with a name-change, and a fabulous open house for her partnership with fabulous wedding vendors. The event was fantastic, the shop is amazing, and Earleen of Revelle Bridal is awesome. Go check it out! (two doors down from Bridgehead)

The reason I’ve been so quiet lately and kept to just hashtags as the captions is because we’ve been patiently waiting to hear back from our real estate agent about a house that we put an offer in early this week (the reason for my dad’s visit + the emotional roller coaster). Unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be, and we will have to wait for an even better one to come along. Wish us luck!
