Blogging in the 613
The first post often sets the tone for the entire blog, and frankly I think that is a little boring. Instead, I have decided that I am going to start us off with an off-topic post, which means you will have to ponder and guess as to what the blog is actually about. Since this post has so far been about nothing, the blog could technically be about everything! I thought for hours on what to write about and decided there was nothing good enough to be the first post. The thing is, there is no such thing as perfect in life. There is no perfect time or place to start, no perfect topic, no perfect beginning. So here we are, taking the first step; making the most of what you have and not being afraid to be yourself. Now, onto more blogging in the 613.

I love your quote there about not waiting for conditions to be perfect! I am a photographer and I struggle with blogging. Sometimes, I want to write about off-topic things and then I think…eh that’s not photo related. But, you know what, I need to remind myself that I can create my own path and do things differently. I don’t have to wait around for a perfect topic, or time, or place to write. I can just write whatever the heck I want 🙂

It has taken me years to launch it (I’ve owned my domain name for a while now), but I am so glad I did! Between my newborn phtogoraphy website and my SEO website, I struggled to find a relevant outlet; now I have it. I have literally got dozens of drafts laying around, and I am so thrilled that I get to publish them! There is no better time than today 🙂
